Applied to this position in early December 2021, about in a week was asked for an online interview with a HR and a department representatives, which was later in December. In interview was also third person unannounced from department.
Interview itself was pleasant and professional including good discussion.
But then what happened didn't really shine in positive ways.
HR person promised to be in touch in beginning of January but first contact from them was in early February apologizing delay and asking for more patience because they have issues going on. In mean while I had been in contact with recruiting manager so knew about this already. Three weeks later asked about situation but no response.
A week later in beginning of March the hiring manager sent an email asking again "little more patience because recruiting is still ongoing". Replied naturally with questions but no response from HR or Dep.
Six weeks later in mid April HR rep sent an copy-paste email about rejection and mentioned also that they will fill the position with an internal candidate.
So the whole process took 20 weeks. One interview and many emails asking for patience without telling any reasonable reason. Today, five weeks later from latest email stating they will have an internal fill, they still have the very same job posted in open vacancies.
