Was interviewed by Assistant News Director who gave me a writing test and current affairs test. He admitted they have a high turnover rate among part-time employees, which made me suspicious from the start. After doing next to nothing after two weeks on the job, I realizedI should have trusted my suspicions.
Discussed both culture and responsibilities, but it was vague on what either of those would entail. Managers were friendly and transparent. Didn’t really get a chance to talk to others in the same position, but did get to talk to producers about the role. Pretty standard overall.
