First there was a phone call (not a problem; then a 4 hour task; next they sent a series of emails postponing their decision about whom to interview. Finally they sent a message that the pool was extremely competitive and. that I would not get an interview. DO NOT ASK SOMEONE TO COMPLETE A 4 HOUR TASK IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO INTERVIEW THEM! This process showed a lack of respect for my time and me as a professional. You knew the pool was competitive when you asked me to complete a 4 hour task.
