      I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at KF Beauty (London, England) in Sep 2018

      Interview

      This must have been the most bizarre post-interview I ever had. But let's start at the beginning: I applied online and received an email back from the head of department to arrange a face to face interview. Interview was arranged for a Thursday afternoon, I went to the office and we talked for 1 hour, was the easiest interview ever and I felt really comfortable talking to this guy, he made me feel at ease and I really think I nailed it. In fact, when he escorted me to the elevator he told me that he wanted to offer me the job, as I was the perfect person, so he would have talked to HR and his superiors to arrange everything. Next day he emailed asking me to perform a translation test, which never came up during the inteview. Anyway, I did the test (into 3 different languages I might add) and delivered the same day. As this was on Friday I waited to hear something back on Monday, but nothing happened. So I emailed the guy on Tuesday and I received the good news, he told me the test was great and that the company wanted to offer me the job. He then asked me for my passport, info and sent me a form for the references. I contacted the people I wanted to be my referees and I gave to him the names. I then waited for over a week, emailed him and he told me that HR was preparing everything and I should have received my offer in few days. Still nothing for another week, so I emailed him again and he assured me HR had received the references and I should have received in the post or via email an offer soon. Can you see where I am going with this? Not once, I mean I haven't received not even a single email or phone call from this HR dept, and every time I had to reach my "soon-to-be line manager". He never kept me in the loop of things. Anyway, in the end I understood that this wasn't going to happen, so I emailed for the last time the Head of Community Management asking him to be clear and tell me that nothing was going to happen. He replied after few days with some lame excuse that HR had just told him that nothing was going to happen anymore but they didn't tell him why. Now if I was the head of dept, I would have investigate, even just out of curiosity. This company is a complete joke, just stay away from them. It doesn't even surprise me that so many customers complain on different channels about unresponsive customer service or about the poor quality of the products they sell. If you just look around the internet you'll find so many complains about this company, it is unbelievable. I think I was lucky I wasn't offered the job after all, if this is the way they treat potential candidates, I can only imagine the way they treat their employees.

      "Tell me about yourself, what you do and what's your work situation at the moment." This is the only question I received, I have basically talked all the time during my hour there.
