Application online and then face to face interview. I would then need a day induction. The manager was the one that interviewed me. My CV was given to her she liked what she saw and told me about hours and salary holidays etc and asked when could I start.

The interview process is for the most part a gloss over of past experiences, and then a readout of atypical questions. Strengths, weaknesses, previous accomplishments and failures, and what you've taken from them. I genuinely winged my way through it like a buffoon but still got the job. It's more a question of meeting in person. However, there was a lot of consideration in that my employer gave me a chance when results in the interview weren't ideal. And for that, after a period of unemployment, I'm grateful. They really did take the human side of things into account, despite the robotic questionnaire.
