This was the worst interview I ever had. The company appeared very promising and professional, and I know that I was more than qualified for the position, I was told the interviews would be held in 10 minute segments, which is pretty short. When I got there at the time of my appointment, I was made to wait about 30 minutes before being brought into the room. Before I entered, they congratulated another candidate on the way out, telling them they would definitely contact them. Hopefully they meant for a second interview. But it seemed like that had already chosen someone and ran 30 minutes over-schedule with them. My interview consisted of being asked "So who are you, what do you do? What are you good at? Why should I hire you?" Amused at first, I started to answer but was interrupted "And quickly, I've got another interview in 5 minutes." The person conducting the interview interrupted my explanation of my skills to say that I "couldn't" be good enough to be a freelancer, otherwise he wouldn't hire me. He only outsourced for that. And he seemed to allude that he wouldn't hire "older" employees, as they would also be "too experienced" or something, though I might have misunderstood him, as I am very young and I didn't understand the relevancy. After an interview that actually lasted probably about 2 minutes he rushed me out the door, having asked almost no questions, and clearly having very little idea of anything about me. He told me nothing about the company and didn't ask if I had any questions.
This would have been a great interview process if he was hiring sales people, but you can't hire technical experts and artists this way. Don't waste your gas driving to this place. They have no respect for people's time. I suspect they already wanted to hire the person before me and just wanted to send me back home.
