The interview process happened in 3 rounds.None of the interviews were structured. They were on avg 60-90 min long. I will describe each one by one.
1st interview - tested me on two problem solving Qs but I scored less in problem solving because I didn't use the exact words as expected. Didn’t start on time and exceeded. But still this was fine.
2nd interview - extremely unstructured and drifted into irrelevant personal topics, with very little time spent assessing my fit for the role. Since it was an interview, I just listened politely. Again, north of 60min.
3rd interview - interviewer never switched on their video, included oddly specific behavioural/background questions that had little bearing on my professional experience. Again, very long.
HR was very proactive to set up interviews but obviously not after.
All three interviewers told me I had good feedback but eventually I got rejected. I have no problem getting rejected, but when I asked for specific feedback to help me improve, there was no response. One person replied to my message on LinkedIn but after finding out it was about feedback, I was ghosted.
I had to follow up 3-4 times with the HR. Then she finally told me my profile wasn’t as strong as other candidates. If that was clear from the start (which is usually how interviews are set up, right?), why proceed with three lengthy rounds?
Very unorganised. Poor interviewers.
My advice — skip this company. During the process, it was also mentioned they have a hire and fire culture. Not the right place to join and definitely not the right people to work with.
