Phone screen with recruiter followed by video interview with hiring manager and then 4 additional face to face interviews. It took a very long time before I was told they went with a internal candidate. Wish they were quicker with deciding so I could have focused on other opportunities.

I was contacted about 2 weeks after submitting my application online. Spoke with the recruiter and she gave some good information and guidance on the process. The same day I received an email from the hiring manager to discuss the role but via phone instead of their standard Teams meeting. The phone call was about 45 minutes long, however, I was not asked much which leads me to believe this was a filler interview and they already had a candidate in mind. I followed up a week later and never heard anything. It’s was disappointing to be ghosted by a company like this.
