Unfortunately because of covid, my interview experience was not in person. I spoke to the CEO himself and had a casual interview about where I was, where I wanted to go, and why I was interested in being an intern

Interview
This internship is primarily found through word of mouth. I sent my resume to my friend, also an intern with Joel Paul, and she set up the interview. The interview is with the President and CEO (it's a small company) and it was very low-key. They're looking for interest and general competence, not experience.

Applied online and was asked to come in right away. When I got there, I was asked a bunch of questions pertaining to the job and a few that had no relevance to the job, private questions.

Like anyone, you want to shine at an interview and do not wish to jeopardize anything by not answering a question. I was asked private questions that had nothing to do with the job performance. I was asked about my family and where my children attend school! I feel my privacy was invaded. So unprofessional!
