I applied online. I interviewed at JoVE (Bogota, Cundinamarca) in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of three rounds. The first was a screening interview with HR, followed by a second interview with the Customer Success Manager, and a final interview with the VP of Customer Success.
Overall, the first interview was very pleasant and focused on standard questions about my background, motivation, and knowledge of the company. The second interview was significantly more challenging, as it included a presentation of JoVE's services and a mock client interaction to assess my communication and problem-solving skills. The third interview was a friendly conversation with the VP of Customer Success, centered on my motivation, hobbies, and the strategies I would use to succeed in the role.

Interview
The HR reached out with a screening round. Didn't explain much about the role when I asked him about it. told some details and asked me to create a 20 minutes presentation covering 2 of my past work and also identify 2 opportunities in JoVE to improve their user impact or adoption. It was clearly mentioned the panel will be VP, Director and CEO. I prepared my presentation accordingly. After submitting the assignment, they scheduled a call with the VP first then rescheduled it with the Director but when I joined the call, there was a senior designer joined as an interviewer who expected in a completely different tangent. It was very bad management as a hiring perspective. The experience just killed it altogether, it shows how unorganized they must be internally. Overall it was a bad experience for me.
It was good. Had 3 rounds. HR round was great. 2nd round was with the manager and was a lengthy conversation. 3rd round - we have to give a presentation.
