      Administrator Interview

      Aug 23, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jer's Chocolates

      Interview

Interview was to take place at coffee shop near Jer's. I showed up at the required time and interviewee did not. Eventually got a message that they decided to move the interview to inside the company building, so I walked over. Interview in small cramped office filled with boxes. It was short and straight forward (very basic like "Can you use office equipment?". I was currently already employed, and was clear that I would not be leaving my employer for less than $15/hr. They very clearly were not comfortable with that number, and suggested $12/hr, moving up to "$14 or $15" once I'd proven myself in a few months. I was firm on $15, not "$14 or $15", they agreed, but I feel they would have reneged on that had I stayed long enough to find out. Second interview was a test to see if I could use VERY basic excel skills.
