Interview
I cold emailed a recruiter who invited me to an interview day in New York, NY. I had two interviews: one technical and one behavioral. The technical interview was by far the easiest "technical" interview I have ever had. It was almost entirely behavioral, though at one point I was asked to write "FizzBuzz," a problem that a student in an introductory computer science course can solve. The behavioral interview was a bunch of "tell me about a time when..." questions. I received an offer shortly after. I ultimately declined the offer because it was not competitive and because the recruiters were impersonal and rude. My impression is that JPMorgan is failing to be competitive - in compensation and culture - in the tech realm, and so it has lowered its bar.

Typical interview process. Phone call with recruiter and panel with Managers. It was really straight forward. Standard questions. Asking about your experience. Why you would be a good fit for the job and what you would like to learn
