Do not interview for this job unless you like being ghosted. Applied on LinkedIn. Was contacted within a day or 2 by a recruiter for a phone screen. A final interview over Zoom with a team lead was setup the day after the after the phone screen, with less than 24 hours to prepare. When it was time for the phone screen to start, the team lead who was supposed to be interviewing me was nowhere to be found. After 15 minutes of waiting, I realized I was ghosted and left. I contacted the recruiter letting them know that the interviewer did not show up. Shortly thereafter, the recruiter let me know that the interviewer was late due to "tech issues" but was now on Zoom waiting for me (not buying that excuse). Got on Zoom and did the interview, which lasted about 30 minutes. After the interview, the recruiter wanted me to know how it went. She said she would let me know if I got the job or not by the end of the day but she never followed up with me. I followed up with her the next day and promptly received a rejection letter within 10 minutes. I certainly do not appreciate wasting my time and energy to prepare for an interview on short notice only to be ghosted by the interviewer and team lead.
