I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
Hirevue then straight to Superday with 3 back to back to back interviews. All with those on FICC trading desks. They asked a lot about your data analytics experience and technical skills. A lot of behaviorals as well.
Not too challenging behavioral questions. Asked for a stock pitch. Followed by a very difficult math test. Couldn't reattempt answers. There were 30 second answer periods for the math test.
Hirevue, SuperDay with 3 EDs, and a final round with an MD
Hirevue is just bunch of behaviorals
Lots of technicals for SuperDay and MD 1-1; they'll grill you on trading ideas
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pitch a trading idea
How do you hedge your position
Mostly behavioral questions like using the STAR method. Have knowledge about most recent market events and economic news that are impacting the markets. Everyone that I talked with was very friendly though.
