Asked in store if they were hiring and turns out they had multiple barista roles near me and I got an email to send my CV over. I had a 25 minute call with a branch manager which I thought went well. The pay would be 12.85, training provided (and I was told in person they will teach you everything but I'm guessing they still wanted cafe experience). She mentioned about scheduling an in person trial within the next week but I got completely ghosted. It doesn't take much to send a single text to inform me that I've been rejected.
It was a phone call interview, asking a few general questions like my availabilities and experience.
As well as, a few generic customer service questions and specific questions about my experience.
