Applied online, and was contacted by text message a week later to set up interview. Didn’t receive any reply to my text so sent back a text and was met with a reply that they all of a sudden consider me for a lower position, not a store manager position, but a floor manager position. Pretty disgusting and unserious behavior from their side! Just shows how retail works and that you in the end are as disposable as the next person. Doesn’t matter what experience you go in to, it’s apparently all about who’s reading your cv to value you on their scale.

The interview process was efficient and productive, I gained a lot of information regarding the business and the way they progress their people, whilst also feeling challenges regarding my current and previous experiences.
