      Software Engineer Interview

      May 26, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Lod
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Istra (Lod) in Oct 2014

      Interview

The process included a phone call from the recruiter, who explained about the company and the type of people they are looking to hire. After that there were 2 interview sessions which included some challenging questions. The interviewers were welcoming and made a very good impression - they were sharp and very knowledgeable. In each interview I was given a sheet with several questions and I was given time to work through them in any order I choose. Once in a while the interviewer(s) would come in and discuss my solutions with me. From these discussions I could tell that these are the kind of people I'd like to work with. After these interviews I was invited to meet the CEO. He explained about the company's goals and aspirations and answered all my questions (and there were many) patiently. He seemed like a true leader with a very clear vision. Also, it was very important to him that I get a clear picture of what it's really like to work there, and he was very considerate to my needs. Eventually, I got an offer but turned it down for personal reasons. However, from my impression this is a GREAT place to work at.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The questions were regarding data structures, algorithms and coding and a bit about statistics and probability.

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Istra (Lod)

      Interview

2-3 sessions, the first is an interview with the group leader, the second is an interview with two team leaders, and the third is an interview with the CEO. You don't want to work there. It's far and the company is very disrespectful to its candidate. The CEO is aggressive and of a short temper

      Software Developer Interview

      May 26, 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Lod
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Istra (Lod) in Feb 2015

      Interview

The process consisted of a session with a team leader, another session with 2 other team leaders, and finally a 1:1 with the CEO. Each of the sessions with the team leaders was structured as a brief introduction of themselves, the company and yourself, then a written test with 3-4 questions with sub-sections, totalling about 7-9 sub-sections. You are given time to answer the questions and the interviewer(s) go in and out the room to check your progress. They are very nice, helpful and patient throughout the interview, warn you of potential pitfalls and make sure you don't "hit a wall". The place itself looks very high-end and equipped. Plenty of parking besides the building. The general atmosphere and attitude I perceived in my visits seemed calm and friendly.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Don't remember specific questions. Generally algorithms, data structures and communication are of interest.
