      Interview

Screening interview with Recruiter. I was then given take home task requiring coding skills and a lot of time to solve. Also, the level of difficulty was quite high for a junior role, When I was about to submit I got an email saying an offer was accepted by a candidate. Why waste someone's time this way interviewing new candidates when you have already made an offer to someone? If you don't want to be treated this way don't ever apply to work for this company.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be to invest effort into a take-home task only to learn that the role has already been filled. While we always aim to keep candidates informed, sometimes hiring timelines move quickly, and we regret that this impacted your experience. Your feedback on the complexity of the task is also noted—we continuously review our interview process to ensure it is fair, transparent, and reflective of the role. We’ll take this into account to improve how we communicate hiring status and structure our assessments. Wishing you the best in your job search, and thank you again for your time! Best, The Isla Health Team
