Applied via CareerBuilder.com and heard back the next business day via phone & email - I was invited to interview. Interview itself went well, though the woman giving the interview was very intense and fast moving. I picked up on a few red flags while I was there. 1. The interviews were not being conducted in an organized professional fashion. Rather, there were 3 or 4 people waiting for their time, even though I was given a specific 20 minute slot. 2. As I was sitting in the waiting room, I could hear the receptionist calling many other applicants and giving them the same cookie cutter scripted messages that I had received that had seemed personal before. 3. There was nobody in the whole office except the receptionist and the manager conducting the interviews. For a business that was supposed to be about business consulting and marketing, and training related to these fields, I found this strange. When I got home I did google searches and read more reviews about this company, and Hillary Thurmond (woman with home I interviewed.) What I found was that all this company does is sell Verizon Fios door to door (that's where all their employees were.) The hours are very long 10-9, 6 days a week. Also, there are records of several businesses of different names which Ms. Thurmond was the manager of, but they all have the same description and ex-employees claiming they are a front for selling Verizon Fios. If you are interested in this job, google Dimensions Marketing and find the ripoff report. Some say that Hillary Thurmond has changed her name from other states to start over. There are also reports that the pay is very highly commission based - not mentioned in the interview. I was offered a second interview, but turned it down.
