      Engineer Interview

      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intuitive (Palo Alto, CA) in Jan 2022

      Interview

It was really nice, especially after contacting the recruiters through Linkedin, they deferred me to the responsible person for the job I was applying to. They made me feel values and as if they were seriously considering my application

      Engineer Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Intuitive

      Interview

Long process and very unprofessional and disrespectful. Went through multiple interviews which took a very long time and was exhausting. Entire process took 4 months! First interview was with HR to talk about the role. The second interview was with one of the manager and went through resume and some technical questions. After that, I was told to do a take-home test with a few questions. The third interview was with a two sr engineers where we went through technical questions. The fourth interview was with another manager who had a different background in engineering. After that I had virtual onsite which also required to create a presentation with a panel. The virtual on-site had 7 interviews with different people across the organization which spanned over 2 days. After that, I did not receive any feedback for three weeks because the hiring manager was on vacation. After the on-site virtual which I received feedback went well, I was asked for 3 references. All three of my references were contacted but the hiring manager only called one. I talked with my other references and they said they were contacted to schedule a meeting but after responding on available times, they were not contacted again which was very rude. I had to keep asking the HR contact on any feedback or updates but received none. A heads up that the hiring manager was unavailable and on vacation would've been nice. After three weeks of waiting, I was contacted again for another onsite interview in person. I went to the onsite interview which had a lunch part to meet with the team as well. The interview pretty much was for a while day and I met with 4 people. However, all these people had engineering degrees in different fields which was unrelated to the position which I found strange. After this long process, I received a standard rejection email. No personalized email or call even after a long process. Any type of feedback would've been good for what I went through but if they treat new candidates this way, they must treat their employees just as poorly.

      Interview

Went through a 4 month long process. Multiple interviews virtually with people across the organization, a virtual onsite along with a presentation and panel, a onsite interview, and referrals. Contacted referrals but never arranged a time to talk after responding which is very rude and disrespectful.
