      No offer

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intralox (New Orleans, LA) in May 2022

      Interview

I had 2 phone interviews (one with a recruiter and one with the technical support manager) and then an all-day in person interview where I toured the facility. Once the tour was complete, I was interviewed by at least 6 different employees where they mostly tested my technical skills by making me solve different problems.

      Question 1

Got asked about my resume a lot and then they test your technical skills by making you answer statics and dynamics problem on a board. Asked questions about simple sliding block friction problems to loads on a conveyor belt.

      Technical Support Engineer Interview

      Jun 24, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Amsterdam
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Intralox (Amsterdam) in Feb 2016

      Interview

The interview took a month from the moment they first contacted me on the phone to my hiring. 1) A half an hour phone call with the head of HR. 2) A half an hour phone call with a member of the Technical department. 3) A lengthy interview with the Manager of the Technical department and the aforementioned head of HR. It took around two hours. 4) I took a simple test on technical stuff. Very basic things. I can't recall whether this happened on a day different from that in the previous paragraph. 5) A five-hour interview (two breaks included) with several people in English, Italian (1 hour), Spanish (30min) and French (30 min). After my hiring I had to await one month to start working. Their interviews are known for putting off many candidates that simply are into more processes. No wonder many of them are already hired by other companies while the Intralox process is still going on. Having said that, I approve of their approach. To me it didn't represent a bother, quite the opposite, I totally related to their way to do it. This has enabled them to have a very smart and knowledgeable workforce in all of their departments.
