I had three phone interviews. In between the second and third phone interview, I had a few test assignments to complete. Each interview focused on a different magazine that I would be working under. There were 3 titles total. Although I had one direct editor, I still completed issues for the other two editors.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A lot of questions surrounded my content knowledge in knitting, yarn, and the yarn industry. The behavioral interview questions focused around my ability to learn and grow in new roles and my openness to new ideas.
I applied online. I interviewed at Interweave (Athens, Athens, Attica) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview had gone exceptionally well. So much so, that near the end of it, we were discussing about periodically working from home, etc. At that point I casually mentioned my age (over 40), and I immediately realized that this was a deal-breaker! I was really disappointed.

Question 1
Classic questions, mostly about previous assignments.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Interweave
Interview
Two interviews--one phone screen first and then an interview at the office. Hiring manager was very nice, and she was excellent at answering questions. The interview was relaxed in tone and the questions gave me a good feel for the position's responsibilities. The whole process took 2-3 weeks--quick and efficient, and more or less on schedule with the timeline I was initially given!

Question 1
There was a question that asked, more or less, what was the worst, make-you-want-to-quit day you had in your current job--what happened and how did you react. Most of the other questions were pretty standard, but that one was tricky.
