Recruiter phone call, huge time lag, visit for lunch, huge time lag, visit the site I would office in. Interview discussions with recruiter were professional and properly prepared. Interviews with Vice President were unprepared, lots of "um's and oh's" and showed a general lack of preparation and formal etiquette. VP offered me the position at the end of the third meeting. I advised that I wished to counter offer but would do so formally the following morning. He had nothing for me to review formally, hell, he couldn't answer the basic employment questions regarding the offer process and the benifits package!! We left the session with a full understanding of follow up. I followed up with a counter offer and questions regarding the perks for the position they listed on the job description. The VP had the recruiter e-mail me to rescind the offer without explanation. I attempted to call him three times and left a voice mail two of them. He did not have the professionalism to contact me back. The recruiter did call me back and stated that she had no information from the VP. This was a very fishy process. I believe the VP is new and still "learning" his role. In any event, I would be wary of this individual as a supervisor.
