I had an initial call with a general recruiter then an in person interview. The in person consisted of mostly behavioral questions with emphasis on leadership and how you manage multiple tasks at once.

Question 1
How would you delegate tasks to your team to complete a project?
I applied online. I interviewed at International Paper (Lebanon, IN) in May 2026
Interview
First was a phone screening about a week after applying. They asked what my technical background was and to elaborate on my past experience. They scheduled the second round a week later, which was scheduled a week in advance.
The second interview was a panel, cultural fit interview. There were three controllers, two plant managers, and an HR Representative that was attending. The focus of the interview were work style questions.
Then the company canceled the requisition. This is actually the second time they did this to a position that I interviewed for, same position.
Very easy and smooth interview process. Did take a while for them to get me back in for a second interview but overall the process was great. Would recommend applying and showing up prepared for a great interview
