Interview
Basic chat with the Customer success director and another senior manager. Nothing too challenging. It was more about personality than anything else. I found their questions very basic and being common interview technics.

Fairly traditional, basic interview process. There were some mistakes made during the interview process like an attendee was missing from the first in-person interview requiring a follow-up in-person interview. There was a practical coding test that from my perspective didn't feel as though it was properly vetted because in order to get it to work, a workaround had to be applied due to an error. I don't know if that was intended to be part of the test to see how the candidate would handle that situation or just an oversight.
The interview process was fairly straightforward. It was roughly 50/50 mixture of assessing personality/culture fit and evaluating technical skills and experience.
The communication and follow up during the process was lacking. It also felt overall like the interview process with the exception of the HR portion to review benefits was disorganized. There were also some things discussed during the interview process that were not as professional as I would have preferred.

It seemed first and foremost this was a personality assessment to judge the compatibility of a working relationship. To see that I would be a good fit to the IDSolutions team. My resume explains enough of my ability to perform in the technical aspects that are required of me, and this was the first hint of a family oriented employer which is exactly what I have been wishing for.
