Interview
I recently interviewed for a Senior Quality Engineer position, and overall, the experience was very positive. The process was smooth, organized, and respectful of my time.
There were three interview rounds:
Initial Call with Technical Recruiter (30 minutes): This was a high-level conversation where we discussed my overall background. The recruiter also gave a clear overview of the company, team structure, and what kind of candidate would be the best fit for the role.
Second Round with Engineering Manager and Director (30 minutes): This was more focused on my technical experience - tools I’ve worked with, automation frameworks, and whether I had mentoring experience, as the role seems to involve some leadership or guidance responsibilities.
Final Round with QA and Engineering Manager (1 hour): This was the most technical discussion. They asked about my past QA projects, testing practices, and questions around Selenium and automation. It felt like a real conversation rather than a grilling session, which I appreciated.
Everyone I spoke with was professional, friendly, and genuinely interested in understanding my experience and how I might fit into the team. I came away from the process with a very positive impression of the company and its culture.
