      Marketing Assistant Interview

      Jul 11, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Indianapolis Zoo in May 2024

      Interview

Had a Microsoft Teams interview to see if I was a good fit for the job and team which led to an in person interview at the zoo with the marketing team. After the interview I was allowed to walk around the zoo and explore for as long as I wanted. The interviews went well and left me very excited about the job, until I was completely ghosted by the team, not hearing back at all. I even sent an email a week after asking about an update which I was told I would get a week earlier. I find this very unprofessional and felt jerked around by the marketing team. It only takes 2 minutes to send an email saying I didn't get the job. They couldn't even do that.
