I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Inari in May 2023
Interview
I had a terrible first-round interview experience. Interviewer was extremely late, lied about the reason, had to be reminded that they'd scheduled an interview, and did not follow up after the interview.

What previous experiences do you have that would qualify you for this position?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Inari (Cambridge, MA) in Jan 2019
Interview
I was asked to present an hour-long seminar to the panel interviewing me. The next 5 hours were spent talking with the group in two-on-one/one-on-one sessions. Discussions involved what happens in the day to day workings, but most groups did not seem to have specific questions or skills they were looking for. Only a few asked targeted questions based on my resume. One interviewer flipped through my resume as though it was the first time and asked questions based on it. What a waste of time. They should reevaluate what they're looking for, and think about how they're going to achieve that.
On the technical side, it became apparent from my interviews that most of their code has been provided from a sister company. I didn't get a good sense that the current developers know more than what instructions they received to run it. Their architecture sounds loosely coupled and I heard complaints from both their data scientists and lab scientists about its usability. They need to give this serious attention as they grow.

It seemed they were looking for candidates to appropriately complete buzzword bingo for knowledge of their specific stack.
