      Head of Carbon Interview

      Jun 23, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at InPlanet (Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais) in Jun 2026

      Interview

I consider the entire recruitment process at InPlanet to be one of the most structured and respectful I have ever experienced. Starting with the job description, it is very well-written and completely aligned with what is expected during the stages. To help candidates prepare, the company provides excellent materials on their website, Notion, and YouTube, which is incredibly helpful for understanding their business model and cultural values. Another major plus is the option to upload the resume and cover letter in PDF format, eliminating the need to manually fill out dozens of repetitive fields and giving the candidate much more flexibility. Regarding the interview with the Head of People, Matyas Tamasi, he was extremely respectful and direct with his questions. Although understandable given the high volume of applicants, I found the 20-minute interview time to be a bit short. Unfortunately, I did not advance to the next stage, but I found the company's approach to be exceptional: not only did they send an update via email (which already demonstrates great respect, as receiving no update at all is the worst-case scenario for any applicant), but they also made themselves available for a 15-minute follow-up meeting to provide detailed feedback. I commend InPlanet for how they conduct their hiring processes and for their genuine respect for people. This experience has only strengthened my desire to join the team in a future opportunity.

      Question 1

This process had over 800 applicants, and among the roughly 30 who are interviewing, you don't hold a doctorate or a PhD. What do you consider to be your competitive edge when competing against them?
