Interview
A complete mess. I received an interview invite and a rejection email for the same role within minutes of each other. I reached out for clarification but got no response. I decided to show up anyway, and when I arrived, no one was at the desk. About 15 minutes later someone came to get me and the other candidates—apparently the rejection email was sent by mistake.
The group interview itself was standard: general questions to get to know each other, followed by a 5-minute lesson plan demo with the room acting as students.
I was offered the role, but the onboarding emails were confusing: one stated a start date the next day and linked to a training RSVP form (unclear if it was paid), which was later updated with entirely new dates. When I responded with my updated availability, I never received a reply. Overall, the process felt disorganized and unclear—a shame, because Imogen Foundation seems like an organization with an excellent mission.

Interview
Group interview with two other candidates in person at their office, which included a mock lesson demonstration and scenario questions. Very positive environment, did not promote any sort of competitiveness between the candidates.

Interview
Interview was held as a group interview infant of a panel via zoom. We were frequently put in focus rooms to discuss the interview questions, and reflect on our answers to the panel afterwards. We were also asked how we would handle certain situations that require conflict resolution and exercising leadership skills in learning environments. I got the sense that they were assessing how individuals can communicate amongst a group. I do wish that they had given us time to talk about our own skills in relation to the role separately, and had let us known in advance that this was going to be a group interview/panel interview.
