Immersion Corporation interview questions

I was offered a job pretty much on the spot. I did an interview that took 30 minutes (maybe) with Jeff Anderson over Skype and after I was spoken about onboarding. It seemed too good to be true. I was then sent a check online by Stephanie Brookes and was told I needed to deposit the funds and then Zelle a “distributor” for company equipment. I believe it was a scam and even if it was, they are using this corporations likeness to hurt people. He claims that he actually works in HR only with remote employees, but still that is terrible.

Applied online and received an email to set up an interview with the hiring manager. He was nice and explained very well the issues. I described my solutions for them and. This interview went very well. I got invited to another round with CTO and engineering VP. This went pretty well as well. Never heard back from them. Seems to me that due to restructuring they never hired someone for this role.
