      Territory Business Manager Interview

      Feb 17, 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at ImageFIRST (Denver, CO)

      Interview

The interview process with ImageFIRST was thorough, about 5 rounds total. Makes sense since it's a corporation. You meet with both local and corporate contacts. These include a recruiter screening, ride along, hiring manager, regional manager and general manager.

      Territory Business Manager Interview

      Jan 21, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ImageFIRST (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2025

      Interview

The interview process consisted of approximately six steps: an initial recruiter screening, interview with the hiring manager, a plant walkthrough with the GM, a ride-along with a sales rep, an in-person meeting with the manager, and a final interview with the VP. The experience became less positive at the VP stage. The conversation felt more focused on re-evaluating resume details rather than assessing mutual fit, which felt unexpected given how far along I was in the process. I was also asked to provide written follow-up responses to additional prompts after the meeting. Ultimately, the decision was communicated via a generic email rather than a phone call, which felt impersonal considering the time invested

      Difficult interview

      Application

      I interviewed at ImageFIRST

      Interview

Began with a simple phone screen with the Regional Sales Manager. Second thing was some weird personality tester or something- you have to answer questions on how you act day-to-day/when you are selling, how many contacts in your network would be viable to sell to/leverage/contact in this position, etc. Then, a more formal interview via Microsoft teams, also with the RSM. Next was a ride-along with the Regional Sales Manager to see a "day in the life," which was followed up with an interview with the General Manager where you also get a plant tour. Last stage is an interview with the Regional Vice President. All in all, 4 different events/interviews before getting the final role.

      Question 2

After you have ran your proposal and presented your quote/estimate to the customer, how would you ask to close the deal or earn the business?
