Icon Media Direct interview questions

The call with the recruiter was not great, she didn't seem like she knew what the position was about and never seemed to care about what I wanted out of the job.

I applied in May 2020 and again in early September 2020. I interviewed with the hiring manager at the end of September 2020. I followed up but didn't hear back until the end of October and by then I was already working for another company which interviewed me and hired me within 2 weeks. I still agreed to interview with Icon Media Direct, because I didn't want to be rude and point out that as they themselves said in a voicemail, there was clearly an issue with their recruitment process. They made me take a 4 hour test, which I know I did well in. Then I interviewed with their human resources department and they were a bit rude and asked if I would consider a lower salary. I mean I hadn't even had my final interviews. I asked what the benefit package looked like because I had read that they only offer Kaiser plans, which I dislike. They said that they usually don't discuss that with people until later on in the process. Well... that's funny because they were ready to negotiate salary at that point. The other people I interviewed with were nice enough except for one who seemed extremely uncomfortable answering questions about office culture. In any case I followed up and by email and phone call, but only received an email with what seemed like a general message that they were continuing to look for other candidates. Nothing specific to the role I interviewed for or me as a candidate. Oh well! Definitely their loss. My suggestion would be for people to read the reviews and steer clear of this place. Best of luck!
