What started as a promising opportunity, ended up with a rather disrespectful rejection where feedback was refused to be given due to 'company policy'. The overall process is, as expected these days, lengthy. One-way video interview > cognitive and behavioural tests > excel task > interview w/ the hiring manager > second interview (if needed) > decision. It took over a month to reach the point where I interviewed with the hiring manager. The interviewers were nice and the questions weren't really challenging to be honest. There were the usual 'Tell us about a time where you had to deal with a challenging client.' type of questions. I had to chase the Talent person for feedback on the interview and ask for a timeframe on the decision/next steps. After all the time and effort that I invested, I only received an automated rejection email. When I asked for feedback, given the hours that I invested, they recognised that, although important, they do not give feedback on rejections.
