I interviewed for the graduate trader role at IMC in June 2021. The first step was a usual application form with motivation and CV and answers to some general questions. The second was the neurolympics test which supposedly tests different cognitive functions of your brain to generate what they call the brain profile to see if it fits the trader role. Stuff like reaction speed memory and so on. You don't need to score highly in every section but the relevant sections to the role you are applying but ofcourse you don't know their selection criteria. I passed this selection round. The third was a one way video interview lasting 8 minutes if I remember correctly. You answer one motivation question and one technical question which was a probability question in my case. It was fairly easy and I answered both correctly. Unfortunately, I didn't pass this round. When asking for feedback about the reasons I got a quick answer that although everything was answered correctly, the tone and way of my answers didn't show confidence or organization. When reflecting back I agree to an extent that this was true. I was also told that I could re-apply again after 9 months. Overall, the process was easy, professional and didn't take much time, usually 2 or 3 days between each step.

OA followed by some one sided interview and interview with trader. OA is somewhat standard in the industry and the one way and interview with trader aren't too difficult, just need to think quick
