I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IDEX (Bristol, CT) in Oct 2022
Interview
Interview with HR for screening questions, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, a team member's conversation in MS TEAMS, and then a site visit for a final panel interview. Got a tour of the Mfg operations and talk to as many as i could during a 6 hours visit
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describing data collection experience and reporting
1. Prescreen
2. Prescreen with hiring manager
3. Additional prescreen with hiring manager and HR
4. Meet the team and final interview
Overall, the interview questions asked by HR were pointless and they obviously did not understand the role at all. It’s crazy that the hiring manager and I talked and everything went well but HR had so much power in the decision process without even knowing the role.
I applied online. I interviewed at IDEX (Boulder, CO) in Feb 2017
Interview
Applied online. Had a phone interview with corporate HR. Then had a in person interview with HR, hiring manager and a sales manager. They checked 4 references. Also took a 3 hour personality/IQ test. Was called in for a second in person interviewed where I was bombarded with questions from numerous people. One guy was hostile towards me, clearly didn't want me there. I suspect that this location has all male engineers and they don't want some chick coming in and ruining their fun. Very disappointing how one bad apple ruins the bunch.
First, let me say sorry for the bad experience. If you are open to it, I would love to hear more about your experience . This clearly isn't the impression we want to give anyone. Robyn Barber, Director Global Talent Acquisition and Engagement rbarber@idexcorp.com
