The interview was well thought out, with a conversational approach. The interviewer asked many questions that were related and explained parts of the job, and more out there questions.
Perks were explained as well as a few pitfalls of the job so I was given a wide range opinion of the job to give me an equal opportunity to consider the role.

Interview
What made it a poor experience was that after 6 rounds I was kept warm for a week and then completely ghosted. That was a long process and a lot of interviewing to be totally ghosted at the final stage. I wouldn't imagine that I'd be a top candidate and have made it that far, to be left without any sort of feedback or a courtesy notification that I was not getting an offer. I haven't even gotten a declined email and it's been several weeks now.

Question 1
The questions were all baseline HRIS knowledge and mostly behavior based.

Interview
Phone screening with recruiter and virtual interview with hiring manager. Recruiter was less professional than most and seemed to be reading from a script or checklist. The hiring manager asked some good questions but looked like she checked out once I asked her more about the culture of the team. I had read the negative reviews specifically around the department and her answers confirmed the reviews were accurate. There was mentioning of a long time employee that made it difficult to work with and that the role would basically involve double checking the work of their team.
