The process took 4 weeks. 1 stage: Call with the talent acquisition: as usual about CV, A couple technical questions. 2 stage: Call with Engineering Manager: Q&A based interview but not much of a discussion as manager is also hired recently and just asks the questions of the list. 3 stage: Take home task: seems like a simple task but there are things to think about and you should do it within 90 minutes. They don't say it, but testing is a must which is difficult to make it within time. 4 stage: Call with 2 senior developers: 1 developer more like a discussion type person, which was interesting and another one is more like Q&A person which is not terrible, but some questions are formulated in a way which are difficult to understand what and why question actually is being asked. For example he asked me what I would test in a specific function where actually he meant what would I test in the whole take home task and on the feedback they came back saying that I could not came up with a test scenario. Also they made a big thing that I did not use TDD only because I mention TDD on my CV even though the task does not say anything about the testing not to mention TDD and the best thing is that they don't agree that TDD is useful. Overall the interview was positive, but when they came back with the feedback a lot of it was misinterpreted. 5 stage: Call with the engineering director: this was cancelled last minute and never rescheduled and I had to be chasing them to find out what is happening. And one thing I didn't like that they were very vague about the actual position as they had a couple of them open. But on the feedback the main reason for rejection was that they need someone who can start going a newly built team but in the whole 4 weeks it was not mentioned and not given a chance to talk about my experience in that. Overall good experience but I see where all of the negative comments are coming from.

The interview process has been very smooth and the people I spoke to are very nice and they will always accommodate your needs. The first stage is a mix of a behavioural&tech questions were they try to find out if you are knowledgeable and what type of person you are. They will investigate a lot on what type of person you are and so I assume that if you decide to join the company, you will be able to work with very nice people and they most likely have a great company culture.
