I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Horizon Media (New York, NY) in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview process was fairly easy, every member was very nice, genuine and informative. It was more of a conversational interview. It came down to whether they felt you'd be someone they'd want to work with, who also wanted to work there than about you just wanting a job. Since its an assistant position, they remind you that everything is coachable as long as you are willing to learn and invest time in understanding your role and the industry. They offer a ton of training across the agency to ensure your success and I got super excited and determined hearing about all of it. It was very reassuring.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Horizon Media (New York, NY) in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview was easy and casual but felt as though some interviewers were not sure about how the interview process is supposed to go and what the next steps are.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give me an example of a time you had to think on your feet
My interview process was seamless and handled professionally. The HR team was prompt in their responses and was super thorough in communicating each step of the process. This was especially helpful for a recent college graduate - they were extremely approachable and I felt well prepared.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Horizon Media (New York, NY)
Interview
The first interaction with employees and the recruiter were friendly. The interviewer was unfriendly and seemed to have no knowledge of my coming. I was introduced to other employees for the interview who also seemed unaware of my arrival. Basic questions only about their business. Didn't have interest in the person they were interviewing.
