Tip: ask at the beginning of your first interview if it is a sales position. It was a strange process. It is the first interview I have been to where they had multiple candidates in the waiting area. The interview took about 10 minutes. I met with the owner of the company and she committed two big interviewer no-nos: She wrote notes on my resume and asked me questions that she could have answered by looking at my resume. My conclusion was that she did not read my resume. I came home to research the company and found that they have VERY high turnover and that the position to which I applied was not an Account Coordinator, it was sales. Strictly sales. Pay is 100% commission, you go door-to-door trying to get people to signup for at&t or T-Mobile. you drive your own car and are not reimbursed. I was afford a second interview, but I declined after I did more digging. Sales is not a bad career, but why does a company need to withhold information about a position in order to lure people into interviews? All the employees and employers seemed friendly and positive, but the lack of transparency and the high turnover were too many warning signs for me.
