      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Horizon Air (Portland, OR) in Jan 2019

      Interview

Interview was far easier than I expected after reading some of the reviews. I applied online, was shortly invited for the video interview. All those 5 questions can be found on Glassdoor, just remember you can NOT re-record any of your answers. After I submitted this, the following day I got an email inviting me to a phone interview. The phone interview wasn't really an interview, basically just an invite to the in F2F interview, overview of the pay, relocation questions etc. After that, I attended the F2F in January 2019. When I arrived, the group was about 50-60 people - we first went through a presentation where they explained the company, pay, benefits, brief overview of the job. We then were split into two groups where we each were handed a question that we couldn't look at until it was our turn. When its your turn, you read the question and answer immediately how you would react to it. Once everyone is done, you go to lunch (bring your own or you can purchase at the hotel). When we returned, there were two flight attendants there to answer any and all questions you had. This was GREAT to be able to ask questions and get a much better understanding of the life of a flight attendant. They tell you the good, the bad, the ugly and all the in between based on the questions you ask. During this time each person is called for a one on one. No one was sent home before, everyone got the one on one. The one on one was simply going over your resume, they ask if you are willing to relocate, ready for the job and crazy schedule etc. If they like you, you talk to one other recruiter to do the same exact thing and go over the same information. If you didn't pass the first one on one, you get told no right away. Offers were all given the same day and we did the drug screen/ background right after the offer was given. Overall honesty, easiest interview I've ever attended. NO reason to be nervous. Be yourself, smile and have FUN!
