Interview
The very first time I heard about CoStar Group and the opportunity with the Homes.com Inside Sales Account Manager position was through Handshake. I got an inbox message from a recruiter who works for CoStar Group, asking if I am interested and to reply to his message. The following day, I got a screening call from them and shortly received an email to do the application. After the application process, I got another call to schedule the interview prep as well as the actual interview online via Microsoft Teams. Now I am awaiting a 2nd round interview on site at Richmond, VA.

Question 1
They give a demo slide deck which you have to present. But before the actual presentation, there is a get-to-know-you for about 5 minutes. One of the questions I was asked was, "Do you have any sales or cold calling experience?" And then one of the other questions was "how did you handle a difficult client?" The last one I can remember is "how do you keep your motivation after about 70-calls at the end of the day?"
The interview process incorporated multiple stages. This included a preliminary phone interview. Following this it moved to a mock sales presentation interview followed by another behavioral interview. Lastly the last round was an in person interview in the office.
