Hochtief Solutions interview questions

Ich wurde in das Baubüro eingeladen, wo ich vom Projektleiter und dem Oberbauleiter in Empfang genommen wurde. Nach einem kleinen Rundgang zur Baustelle setzten wir uns zu dritt in den Besprechungsraum und haben das Vorstellungsgespräch begonnen. Nach ein paar Fragen von HOCHTIEF konnte ich noch Fragen stellen und nach einer guten Viertelstunde war das Gespräch beendet. Ich habe innerhalb weniger Wochen ein Vertragsangebot erhalten.

I have been interviewed for a position in the Bucharest Branch. I have been called 4 times to discuss with the same person, my future boss. Only in the last meeting I got to meet the other Branch Manager to whom I have discussed for 10-15 min. One of the questions that bothered me from the beginning was "Do I think I can handle the job, me being a woman?". The other thing that made me wonder from the start was that even if I could have started from the second day I was told that it is better to start the day after the person I was replacing would leave. This meant that I had no contact with my predecessor. Of course I have wondered: What was there to hide?
