I interviewed at Hit Promotional Products (Florida City, FL)
Interview
The interview process at Hit Promotional Products usually moves quickly and feels structured but friendly, giving candidates a clear sense of how the team works and what they value. It typically starts with an initial phone or virtual screening where a recruiter or HR member gets to know your background, your design strengths, and how comfortable you are working in a fast paced production environment. If that goes well, the next step is a conversation with the hiring manager or the specific department you are applying for. This part focuses on your portfolio, how you think through problems, how you handle tight deadlines, and how well you collaborate with cross functional teams like sourcing, production, and marketing.
From there, candidates might participate in a short skills review where you walk through a few portfolio pieces, explain your design decisions, and show how you can balance creativity with manufacturability and timelines. Some roles may include a simple design exercise so they can see your thinking in real time, but it is usually straightforward and reflective of the actual work.
The final stage is often a culture fit conversation where they want to understand how you handle pressure, how you stay organized with multiple high volume projects, and whether you enjoy being part of a team that moves fast and relies on clear communication. The overall process is supportive, fast moving, and focused on understanding how you work, not just what you have done.

Interview
Applied through a temp agency. Then came in for an in person interview and was asked about past experience on my resume and why I wanted to work for the company. They then made sure I could use Adobe Illustrator and asked me to do a series of tasks in the program. Was asked to come in for training a day later.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hit Promotional Products (Bellmawr, NJ) in Aug 2016
Interview
I had an interview that took two hours.. The place seemed okay and everyone that I was able to meet was very nice. They only wanted to offer $12/hr and that just isn't enough for that position!

Question 1
She never really asked any questions other than when I would be moving to Philadelphia. She told me about the position but we never talked salary or benefits.
