Honestly, the weirdest and time-wasting interview, read it all and you'll get to know.
This was a walk-in interview.
1. Short interview with HR basic questions related to you and some questions on excel like vlookup.
2. Interview with an accounts person, he asked me what is the KEY for BRS in the tally, what is the meaning of bank reconciliation statement, the section of tds of contractor and professional services.
After this round, 4 candidates were selected including me and were giving the interview time for the 3rd round which was on the next day.
3. I reached the office and this round was with the Director of Finance, consisting of general questions such as tell me about yourself, why do you want to leave the job and all.
I got selected in the top two and was said by the HR that she will call me on "the next day".
After "5 days" I got a call that you will have your last round with the CEO.
I was well-prepared, "I am from a CA firm, still I was ready to answer any question related to tours and travels."
4. I was taken to the HR room and was interviewed for 15 min. with the CEO and was asked the same question as in earlier with 2 extra question that was where do you see yourself in the next 3 years and tell me about your + and - points & the round ended well.
The interview with the second candidate was done in 7 min. I already knew that the other girl and knew that she doesn't know anything related to gst, tds and Zoho books( which the company was introducing in their for the next month) and as a result, her interview didn't go well. Anyways, the HR again said to me that I'll call you till 6 pm "positively", it's been 8 days and didn't happen till now. The slowest HR.
It was a complete time waste.
