It was long and went to multiple levels but I never interviewed with the person to be my "boss" onsite. When I was finally hired, the person I was going to report, wasn't even aware I was showing up - it was apparent when he said "who are you"?

It was all technical - nothing personal, nothing about me, my goals or aspirations. People here are truly treated as a commodity, to be bought and sold.
