Hexagon Bio interview questions

It started with a chat where I first shared my experience. The chat was in first week of October -2022. I was selected to give a science talk and interviewed by three heads of different departments . The interview was good I really liked it . In November I got a call from scientific recruiter discussing compensation and other thing benefits. Later in last week of November I got another email from the sineor scientist, telling me they have agreed to do next step with me and they will reach out to my références.and Finally today Dec 05 after two months , Scientific recruitor emailed me that I have been not selected.🙃

I had a great Zoom interview on the first round. I sent in my references and eagerly awaited the next step. The following week I got an email saying that my references were good and that they'd like to set up another interview. I submitted my availability but they didn't get back to me until a week later. The second interview wasn't even the hiring manager but an initial screening interview (so what was the first interview?). I got anxious about my chances with the first position because it was taking so long so I applied to a second position at the same company. Two weeks later I FINALLY got an email response. It was a generic bot email saying I didn't get the position. Which position? The first one or the second one? I had to message the HR several times before I was clarified that it was BOTH positions. They didn't even bother to clarify that in an email? Overall the whole process felt not entirely respectful to me as a candidate.
