Applied two separate times for the same role that was posted months apart. The first time, I spoke with HR and was scheduled to have an interview with the hiring manager. The day before the interview, I received an automated email that the role had been filled. I then reached out to HR for them to confirm they decided to go in a different direction (without following through on the scheduled interview). The second time, I spoke with the same HR person and was then told someone else would contact me the following week to schedule a hiring manager interview. When they didn’t, I reached out to the original person who said the team was still working on the schedule. When I reached out a second time, I was then told the team moved forward with a different candidate. Very disappointed in this happening not once, but twice.
