Interview
I applied to the Assistant Property Manager position and was contacted the next day for a phone interview, which went well. I was invited to an in person interview and was able to fit that into my work schedule 2 days later. I showed up to the interview, where I was told that someone else had already been hired, and they had sent me an email the day before to let me know the interview was cancelled. I checked every part of my inbox including spam, and I did not receive any email notice. I am a contractor at my current job, and I lost 3.5 hours of pay, plus a day and a half of my time preparing for an interview that didn't happen. They said they will be hiring again within the next year, and best of luck on my job search. It's some of the most unprofessional treatment I've received in my career, and if I'm ever contacted by Henderson again, the answer is no. They also ascribe to a "work hard, play hard" mentality - red flag. I dodged a bullet. Don't walk - run away from this company.

Interview
The interview process was essentially a screening to see if I am okay with the owners political beliefs. He holds meetings once a week where all employees must listen to his right wing beliefs and religious statements. Owner states that he doesnt care if people dont like his political or religious meetings, he runs his business how he wants. I was told noo feminist tattoos. You cannot leave work early if there is a family obligation, but then somehow they say theres a great work/life balance. The interviewers were kind but it really seems like a miserable place to work with a close minded company owner. You will probably love it if youre a MAGA follower.

Interview
Sat down with owner of company and he had me fill out a personality questionnaire. Once he learned my ultimate goal of being a real estate agent the interview ended.
