I had a fairly informal interview. I had two interviews. In the first interview, I met with the two Partners that I would be working closely with. In the second interview, I met with the head of department. It felt like more of a informal conversation then a series of questions. I thought it went really well and I was really pleased to receive an offer of employment. The interview is where the positives ended. When I joined the firm, I felt ignored, unheard and undervalued. Goes without saving, that it wasn’t long before I departed.

Initial chat with partner pre interview. Friendly and engaging. Interesting work and interesting partner. Standard questions: why this firm, tell me a bit about yourself, hybrid working etc. Wasn’t an area I ultimately wanted to work in but got a good impression from the initial chat
